The region’s HR managers can now put employee logistics nightmares to bed, according to Curt Clements, Managing Director of Move One’s regional hub in Dubai. Move One is an integrated international assignment and moving management
company.
Clements said that the answer to the relocation logistics woes that hamper HR departments across the region is two-fold. He suggests that businesses fast look to outsourcing their employee relocation requirements and migrate to a SaaS (Software as a Service) or cloud computing platform.
“We are convinced that cloud computing and SaaS solutions can help organisations manage their businesses more effectively, and eliminate the need to invest in excessive resources to maintain in-house systems.
“Indeed, we are so committed to the ‘cloud’ that with Radix Technologies we are introducing to the region a suite of SaaS applications for the HR mobility industry known as via™, and RadixCloud™, a range of cloud hosting solutions,” he said.
He said that via™ uses the cloud to create a common online space for HR, assignees and vendors, such as moving or immigration companies, to work together. For HR managers, the system allows control and visibility over the process of relocating an employee.
“Cloud computing is the smart answer to centralised electronic storage with easy access for multiple users,” said David Corriveau, Managing Director of Radix Technologies, the organisers of Global Mobility Challenge in Dubai (March 10), part of a series of global conferences for HR managers.
Corriveau said that the region’s HR managers can now opt to migrate to a shared platform that allows access for all named parties. “It’s an all-in-one application that integrates chat and email, destination details, document management, financial services, employee details, immigration service and storage.”
Meanwhile Judit Kató, Sales and Marketing Manager of Radix Technologies said that implementing Radix is feasible for organisations of all sizes, including SME’s as the system do not need any additional hardware upgrade and it is also compatible with the existing systems, such as Oracle, SAP or People Soft.
”It is a wonderful system, that allows HR managers to organise, store and retrieve information easily, minimising phone calls and paperwork,” she concluded.
